Saxon Version and Validation Engine Used by oXygen

Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding the components included with the latest oXygen release.

First, which version of Saxon is currently bundled with oXygen? Is this information mentioned somewhere in the official documentation?

I would also like to know which validation engine oXygen uses when validating XML with RNG or Schematron. For transformations, I see the option called “default engine”, but I could not find a clear explanation of which actual engine this refers to.

Could someone point me to the relevant documentation or clarify how these engines are selected?

There are several ways to validate XML documents in Oxygen.
The main topic in our documentation is:

For XML validation against RNG or Schematron, schemas can be specified according to the explanations in the following topics:

As for the Saxon version bundled with Oxygen, it is always specified:
- in the "Validation engine" column within the validation scenario creation/editing dialog (via a combo box available by clicking the cell corresponding to a validation unit)
- in the "Transformer" combo box within the transformation scenario creation/editing dialog.
The current version of the Saxon engine integrated into Oxygen is 12.9.
